Despite the dire warnings about heaps of snow and cold winds sweeping across the Alps into Piedmont, we've come to a simple conclusion. Italy is a tease; she's only playing at winter. Oh, to be sure it snowed last week. For 36 hours straight: a fluffy, light-filled wonderland of trees piled with fresh snow. I met Crystal on the bike path to school in 4 inches of snow and we patted ourselves on the back for our hardcore cycling status. One day later it was essentially gone. 
And today? 16 degrees and sunny. I'll be riding home in a t-shirt, hoody and jeans. I'm a big fan of this kind of winter.
